What customers mention most
Three themes come up repeatedly in the feedback, and they are worth knowing before you visit because they tell you what the workshop is actually good at.
- Turnaround. Several reviews describe a full tinting job completed the same day, in one case inside 45 minutes of arriving. Automotive work is carried out on site at Al Khabaisi rather than sent elsewhere, which is what makes that possible.
- The heat demonstration. Customers mention a heat lamp rig at the workshop that shows the real-time heat coming through different films side by side. This matters more than it sounds: film is sold on percentages, and a percentage on a page is abstract until you put your hand behind two samples and feel the difference. It is the fastest way to understand why a light Crystalline film outperforms a dark dyed one on heat.
- Genuine 3M product and pricing. Reviews reference 3M ceramic coating and 3M tinting specifically, and several mention value. Carcool is a 3M Authorised Autocare Center, so the film fitted traces to a published product code with published performance data behind it.
What to expect when you visit
- Tell us the problem rather than the product: heat, glare, privacy, appearance, UV or paint protection.
- We look at the glass you actually have, because the finished window is the factory glass plus the film. On many cars the rear glass is already darkened from the factory.
- Where heat is the issue, ask for the demonstration. It settles the darkness-equals-coolness misunderstanding in about a minute.
- The exact product code goes on the invoice, with the warranty term that applies to it.
