What Car Cool does
Car Cool installs 3M window film and carries out vehicle paint protection and appearance work from a workshop at 157 Al Ittihad Road, Al Khabaisi, Dubai. The work splits into two halves that share the same underlying discipline: applying film to glass, and protecting or correcting painted surfaces.
- Automotive glass. 3M automotive window film across the Crystalline, Ceramic IR, Color Stable and FX-ST ranges, plus removal of failed or non-compliant film.
- Vehicle paint. Paint protection film, ceramic coating, machine polishing and paint correction and detailing.
- Buildings. Residential and commercial window film for solar control, privacy, safety and decoration, including 3M DI-NOC architectural finishes.
3M Authorised Autocare Center
Car Cool is a 3M Authorised Autocare Center. In practice that means the films installed are genuine 3M product with published technical data behind them, and that the warranty position on a job can be traced to a specific product code rather than to a brand name on an invoice. It is worth understanding why that matters: window film is sold on percentages, and percentages are only meaningful when they come from a published data sheet for a named product measured on a named glazing configuration.
This is the reason the product pages on this site quote 3M figures with the test configuration attached, and say plainly when a figure is not published for a given shade. A number without its configuration is not a specification.
How we work
- Name the problem first. Heat, glare, privacy, UV, appearance and safety are six different problems with six different answers. A shade percentage is not a diagnosis.
- Look at the actual glass. The finished window is the factory glass plus the film. On a car that means factory privacy glass and acoustic laminated glass; on a building it means glass type, thickness, unit construction and the shading pattern across each pane.
- Specify the product, not the family. Published performance belongs to a product code. The quote should carry it.
- Measure the result. On a vehicle, the shade reading is taken on the finished window, because that is how it is measured if it is ever checked.

The workshop is on Al Ittihad Road in Al Khabaisi, a short walk from Abu Hail Metro Station on the Green Line, open every day from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Automotive work is carried out on site. Architectural and commercial film is quoted after a site discussion, because the glazing decides what can be specified.
